Our story
AZ Real Estate offers bespoke property solutions for private clients looking to acquire, sell or invest into London property. Founded by Alisa Zotimova in 2012 after ten years of international property experience at Cushman & Wakefield and JLL, the company is firmly established as a go-to property consultancy in the London market.
The company provides London market investment and private buy-side consulting for clients across the globe. AZ Real Estate deals with investment across residential sales and on the agency side, helps sellers to facilitate their sale as well.
The projects and sites are sourced on and off-market to ensure best opportunities and returns. This is done with discretion and razor-sharp attention to detail. We work with novice and seasoned investors based in the UK and overseas as well as those relocating to the UK to study, work and live.

Meet our team
Alisa Zotimova
A London-based entrepreneur, Alisa is a driven and passionate real estate professional with over 20 years of experience in the property market.
She has a degree in economics followed by a hands-on real estate consulting and brokerage career within JLL and Cushman & Wakefield where her jobs included heading Russian Cross-Border investment desk in London and running the Alliance Program for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Ms. Zotimova has travelled the globe and speaks four languages. She often appears as a public speaker at events and webinars and gives interviews to the press. Alisa comments on the Real estate market in the UK, talks about female entrepreneurship, and advocates cultural diversity across the business arena.

Yulia Bakman
At AZ Real Estate, Yulia currently leads Operations and Marketing to ensure efficiency and a high level of service. As the Operations Director, she oversees the day-to-day functions of the company aiming to enhance overall organizational performance, ultimately benefiting the company’s bottom line.
Yulia has a degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics and a PhD in Economics. She previously spent 7 years in economic consulting research helping corporations and government departments make effective business and regulatory decisions. She also worked in leading positions in Marketing and Operations both in Moscow and London.
James McAlhone
James is the Head of Residential Sales at AZ Real Estate, overseeing the sales team’s day-to-day operations, whilst generating new business streams and establishing new relationships.
James has a degree in Quantity Surveying and started his career at leading construction and property services companies. After many successful years in development, he moved to London to continue his love affair with property, albeit switching to the sales arena. He developed his expertise at several prominent London estate agents.
James is a driven property professional with a strong interest in sales, always passionate to provide extremely high levels of client service. He has a proven track record in sales and a reputation for selling Prime / Super Prime properties in the most prestigious central London locations. Enabled by his strong ability to build relationships through honesty, integrity and trust.
Katerina Rytikova
Katerina is a driven property agent who boasts a wealth of experience in marketing and sales. Before moving back to London with her family in 2022, she co-owned and managed a Moscow branch of Century 21 franchisee. In addition to that she personally transacted over 40 deals focusing on high-end residential sales and acquisitions.
Prior to real estate, Katerina’s career took off in marketing at MTS — Russian biggest telecommunications company. Between two commercial parts of her work life Katerina also learned photography and made a living of it during her first London residency in 2010s. So now all our clients benefit from her creativity as well as business acumen.
She holds a degree in Economics from Perm State University and speaks fluent English and Russian.
Marianna Karmyzava
Marianna is our AML and Operations Manager. She provided dedicated support for our team with compliance and regulatory requirements. Marianna also works alongside the Operations Director in a key supporting role within the business.
Having always had a keen interest in Property and with over 10 years’ experience working in a family property business in London, Marianna knows what our clients are expecting from us. It’s the variety and fast-paced environment that Marianna enjoys about this industry, along with the challenges it provides. She has a Degree in Economics and has previously worked in the London financial industry as a due diligence analyst and project manager. She speaks three languages.
Nadia Borisova
Nadia has extensive international experience in the Art Industry. Before relocation to the UK, she lived in Russia, as well as in the US and South Africa.
Having had an art history degree as a background, she later continued education in Art Management and Gallery Business, did an internship in Hong Kong and Miami.
Nadia was a co-founder of a Consulting Agency that was providing art advisory and organising trips to the leading Art Fairs accompanied by experts (Venice Biennale, Art Basel, Frieze, TEFAF).
In AZ Real estate, Nadia continues to work as an art adviser, collaborating with private galleries around the world, independent artists, working in partnership with an extended pool of designers and architects. She focuses on ‘Art as an investment’ tools in relation to real estate providing a variety of design decoration and art-investment services, additionally accompanying our clients after sales or leasing deals.
Catherine Adamovich
Catherine brings a wealth of experience in high-level administration and project management to the team. With a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, she possesses a sharp analytical mind and a meticulous, detail-oriented approach.
As Personal Assistant to the Director, Catherine applies her diverse skills to provide executive support and also drives key marketing initiatives and special projects. Her extensive background in analytics and management ensures our internal operations run seamlessly, allowing our leadership to focus on core business goals. Her fluency in English, Spanish, Russian, and proficiency in Chinese make her an invaluable asset in our international environment.
Outside of her professional life, Catherine is passionate about dancing, fashion design, and exploring new cultures through travel. This creative energy and global perspective enrich everything she does.
